Motion Photos - what is it?

I used part of my holiday recently shooting some video footage in Fuerte Ventura, Canary Islands.

Actually I prefer to call these short video clips as a motion photos. Camera is not moving but there is some movement in the images which make these clips to stand out without any editing or music. The sound of the nature creates all necessary voices.
